Meet Shelley

FCA has played a significant role in my life, first as a four-sport high school athlete, then as a college volleyball player and president of FCA at Baylor University, and finally as a high school and college volleyball coach. 

After a fulfilling career of teaching and coaching, I had the opportunity to lead the Coaching Education Department at USA Volleyball in Colorado Springs for six years. In 2022, I joined FCA full-time as the Area Representative for Southwest Colorado Springs until God called me back home to Texas. I now get to continue this ministry in the Fort Worth-Dallas area where I grew up, sharing the Gospel and encouraging coaches and athletes from 27 schools in their relationships with Jesus Christ. 

This lifelong journey of pairing sport and faith has completely changed the lens through which I see and experience the joy of competition. I will continue doing God’s work here in Texas with your help. If you would consider walking alongside me as I pour into the lives of coaches and athletes, I would be blessed and honored.
